I dont have the time, money, need or Volvo knowledge but I still keep thinking how cool this would be to own.

That's only because he didn't live long enough to have an LS swapped Volvo.
If you want less than 300whp b230 is great. If you want to make more than 300whp it's lsx, and if you want a boat anchor, get a 302.
