I'm not up on the alphabet soup that is japanese engines. What engine is that, what did it come out of, and what's the hp and torques?

Think that's a typo in the title. Probably VG30ET, which was the motor in the 80's 300zx turbo.

Where in SoCal? Any more photos?

I'm thinking typo- I don't think there was any way to build a VG33 any larger than about 3.5L

Engine is rated 228 PS (225 bhp - 168 kW) at 5400 rpm and a maximum torque of 326 Nm (240 lb. ft) at 4400 rpm. The power is transmitted to the road by the rear wheel drive (RWD) with an auto transmission, but a direct fit manual tranny is provided along with the original NA engine on stand.

Second gen Maxima with 300zx turbo swap. Engine is from Japan and has 30,000 miles. Car has been seating for a while but it's a good project. Starts but needs CHTS replaced (cylinder head temp sensor). $1500 obo sold as is. No smog. Comes with bunch of parts.

That could be a fun sleeper. Anyone know how much power those can hold before they pop?
