Crestview Florida, in the panhandle east of Pensacola. It's being listed by a good friend of mine, who was at the challenge last week.
Edit: sorry I missed posting the picture. I posted this between working waivers and the driver's meeting for the track sprint today.
$11.5 seems a bit steep for a 91 with 208k miles

Seems optimistically priced. IIRC, that generation wasn't intercooled either.
Understand your reactions to the price. As I understand it, it's just a starting point as it only just went up for sale. That kind of feedback is welcome, can be useful.

First gens were intercooled beginning halfway through 1991.
Photos of the actual truck would go a long way here. Is it 2wd? 4wd? Extended cab?
These trucks have skyrocketed in price, and 208K miles is considered a brand new creampuff in the Cummins realm.
But without more info, it's impossible to tell if it is a good deal or not.

Thanks for reminding me to post a picture. I edited the first post.
I just sold my 7.3l stick for 10k. I think he is optimistic about his price. Pictures of my f350....
Looks like a great $4k truck. (Aka that's a lot of rust and wear, even for 30 years and 200+k miles).
I paid $3800 for my farm truck. Less rusty/better shape, but gasser. If that helps with reading the market at all.
Man the crack must be flowing freely in north Florida. Thats about $10k overpriced.
Here in Texas that's a 7500-8000 dollar truck. The Getrag tranny and lowish miles are strong selling points.

I'll pass along the comments.
I sold an absolutely roached cummins powered 1992 ram 2500 with an auto trans. It had been totaled - hit hard enough to bend frame rails in the rear. It had rust and multi colored body panels and a beat interior. But it ran well and I got $2500 for it. I do not think that's a $3800 truck but I think $10500 is a stretch.
Dculberson nailed it, I'd call it a 5500-7500 truck

That price is nuts. If the paint weren't destroyed I'd be interested at 1/2 that price.
May be sold for $8000 when bank opens tomorrow. Buyer already owns three of them.
I haven't seen it in person, it must look better IRL. That, plus truck prices are crazy.
Congrats. There's a taker for every seat out there. Glad it worked out.
No surprise, buyer ghosted. After all, it's Halloween
I'll ask for more pictures.

If it's the 12-valve Cummins with the P pump, the engine and transmission are worth crazy money by themselves.
IIRC that trans is the iron case and will hold up without spitting the guts on the ground when abused.
In reply to Toyman! :
It's the VE Pump with the Getrag 360 trans.
Still would like to know if it was the intercooled engine or not ...

If you could, get photos of the drip rail over the windshield, the rear wheelwell lips, and the rockers/cab corners. Top of the grille between the "d", "g", and "e", as well.
The burnt paint doesn't mean much, and this very well may be a nice body. Or it may have rotted from the top down.

He is smoking just as much crack as the asking price. Honestly, the engine and trans out of it is about what it's worth.
pre crazy asking price days, that was several grand. Even then that engine went for about 2 grand, if you were really good at finding deals.
yea, that 11k is nuts. With a gas engine that was a 500 truck a few years ago. But even gas trucks are crazy asking prices today, so can't say for sure. Find out what the engine and trans would go for, as a starting point.
Sold, $6500, buyer was thrilled.
I wondered about this in these crazy times. Well sold.
Did well at $6500. Congrats to the seller!
