They dropped 1k in a week. How low will they go?

This would have been a 4 to 5k car pre covid. If it can be purchased for 5k, it'd be a good buy.

Dang it, I've been eyeing Boxsters for a while now, but no way am I buying anything from Ohio.

I think the car is priced reasonably, to maybe a touch low, but prices are falling.  I honestly believe this was a $9K car a year ago at the height of Covid pricing.

I'll be watching this as a reference point.  My car has better paint, better lights, much better interior and a newer top with heated glass window.  Half the miles on the engine and 25% less miles on the chassis. The down side of my car is it's an auto and boring silver like 90% of 986's.

I got mine in Cincinnati, and it's spotless underneath. Porsches have pretty good corrosion protection.

Mines shy of 100K miles and mint underneath.  Zero corrosion issues on body of fasteners.  The only damage underneath is where someone destroyed one of the jacking points.  Even there it's not corroding.  Porsche started hot dip galvanizing of bodies back in 1975.  They have some of the best corrosion resistance of any cars.
