A logbook would be easy to get. There would be a number stamped somewhere on the rollhoop. The first digits of the number would be the SCCA region that issued the book. A New/Replacement could be issued.
FV SCCA legal engines have gotten super expensive. (think $1,500 intake manifolds) That engine probably moved to another more modern chassis.
The wheels and tires don't appear SCCA Club Racing legal. Maybe it was autocrossed with a modified engine that is now in another vehicle.

1.5 Steve for a VW intake manifold? I thought they were OEM bus manifolds. What makes the intake and the rest of the engines expensive? Some specific year/model parts that aren't available any more?
And how well do these chassis work for autocross? Are the chassis stiff enough for stickier tires? It used to be fairly easy/inexpensive to build a 100hp VW engine (not an FV legal one) but I imagine that ship has sailed.
SoloVee used to be (hopefully is still) classed in FMod. From my remote 20 year distant FMod memory, you could build up your FV with a 1600 engine, bigger rubber, and probably other stuff I can't remember.
I think the idea was to make them comparable with an F500 for FMod. I'm sure someone will be along with current factual info soon!
