The spitfire with little bumpers is a beautiful little car.  Even with a ratty paint job mine got compliments a lot.  Not sure what people say walking by this one.

I have always loved the lines of a Spitfire. I'm guessing that whoever did that to it didn't like Spitfires, wanted it to be something else and made some bold choices.

I always wonder if the final result is what the builder had in their mind when they started? Or if it somehow went off the rails along the way.....

Ah, yes, catfishing...I've heard of this online trend, only I thought it involved posting something invented, fake, *and* more attractive.  Oh wait...that's not what you are referring to, but the invented and fake part is spot-on.
