I have no idea where you would ride this and that's probably what the seller is thinking too but that would be more fun than a barrel of monkeys on the right track. It has literally never turned a wheel in anger. Parts are probably something of a problem...

Speedway is still pretty active around here with two local clubs and tracks, but that's a bit of a relic.
For that money you could probably buy a modern bike.
Speedway is on my list of things to do, it just hasn't happened yet

Speedway is still big in Europe.
We have forgotten our roots, LA used to have over 15 race tracks (with significantly less population)
Cool bike and really not much money for a 50 year old bike ,
It seems like Orange county fairgrounds in Costa mesa is still active , next race is May 11th
I would bet they have a "Vintage" race some times :)
