Saw this on the feed. Says he has a parts car too, not sure if all included. I just bought 2 cars this week, so hard pass for me.

Alright, who wants to hold this for me? Preferably for like a year so I can save up $1500. Yeah it's an interest-free loan. Why are you laughing no come back

and you were always right.
I did *not* need to see this. Can someone buy it so I don't spend most of my Thanksgiving weekend driving down to Florida and back? I've even got a co-worker heading down there that could look at it for me before I drove down.
So I called the guy, and it's THREE CARS. The one in the pictures ran when parked, has a bad roof and floor pans. There's a second car with a good roof and floor pans included, and then ALSO a third car that's complete other than an engine. He wants $1500 for everything. He said he'd get pictures of the other cars for me today.
Being in Michigan and only having a single-car trailer, it wouldn't really be practical for me to get all 3, but they're selling them together. Only the one in the picture has a title. I was thinking about *maybe* taking the titled one and the roof/floor pan car, if there was someone else interested in the other one.

Is there a spare engine/trans in the deal?
As fas as I know there isn't, but there are a ton of spare parts, he mentioned at least 4 doors and a bunch of other stuff (plus what's in the pictures). Sounds like his dad bought them all and then found a Mustang, and ended up going in that direction instead, so they're just been sitting.
My first car was a '77 Cougar, so they've always had a special place in my heart. I'd love to pro-touring the E36 M3 out of a first gen like this one.
If they weren't so far away I'd just pick up all 3, but it would be 3 weekends of 36 hours of driving each to pick them all up. I even have room for them all, there's even room to keep 2/3 of them inside. I could get 1 or 2 shipped, but that would require eating into my emergency savings (or is this an emergency?). I'd assume that would be at least $600-$1000 per car.
(I got some quotes and there's at least one coming in around $600, maybe I can actually pull this off. but if someone was interested in the no-engine car or some/all of the parts that come with them, I'd still be very ok having those go to someone else.
The ad is showing as sold now, so either someone appeared out of nowhere, or he thinks I'm for sure buying them. I guess I'll find out if I get those pictures later today or not.
