Finding the rust statement hard to accept also. Got mine out of PA a year after it arrived, took to CA. Quarter panels still rusted out. Best handling FWD I ever drove with no power. A prius could beat it off a light.

I have to agree. My Omni GLH was a hoot, my classic mini was hootier, my R53 is hootiest. Right on par with my NA or any car I've owned. It's just VERy different. I remember with the GLH I could stear the back end with lift-off throttle in a corner. But a REALLY thick rear anto-roll bar will do that lol.
Really good rally history with these cars.
the only issue is they are just full of rust. They came pre rusted off the boat from Italy.
