Another random find...

2005 w/200k asking $2k  as of this writing, listed just 2 hrs ago.  I would not expect it to last beyond Saturday 2:00pm

I'd like to know more of what's going on behind the bumper cover.  The driver's headlight is askew.  But if it is just front bumper cover, they are cheap and easy to replace.

The seller "over sells" it a bit in the writing.  It will not get 99 mpg under 40 mph, etc.

Oh, boy!  The Crossfire is just 30 minutes from home in a town I get to a few times a month!

Yes, I think a Crossfire has Challenge potential and I have expounded on this premise many times.  But, the main reason I do not bring a Crossfire to the Challenge is, "then I would own a Crossfire."

This one does seem to have an interesting an unique feature.  Ad says, "Does tend to overheat when driven for a long period of time without coolant."

Headlamps on these cars have always been crazy expensive but a quick check shows they have come down in price.  They used to be near $1k each and now have come down to $300 to $600  Demand must be down.
My Challenge plans always were surrounded by taking a FMV for the headlamps, remove the headlamps (for event purposes) and replace with tinted dark lexan.

After I stumbled on the ad I checked to see how big these are. Surprised to see the wheelbase is 2.6" shorter than my MINI ! They're heavy little buggers at 3300 lb, but should turn in decently with that short wheelbase and big tires.

In reply to DeadSkunk (Warren) :

I also generally do not fit inside them.  Very much a "fashion" over function design language.
