"Very rare in the US. I only know of one other of this series in the states. RHD. 4 speed with overdrive. Yellow hand laid fibreglass body with chestnut/tan cloth interior. 3 litre Ford Essex V-6 runs smoothy and has a great exhaust note coming out of a stainless steel exhaust system. Extremely good condition for a 35 year old British car. Lived much of it's U.S. life in Texas before I bought it from a broker in Indy. Chassis is excellent. Body wise she is a ten footer yet extremely presentable. Interior is clean with no tears or excessive wear. The only major issues I know of is the power steering rack developed a leak and I pulled the belt so the pump would not seize, the outside door mirror rubber plinthes have deteriorated and would need to be replaced and the tires are of unknown age. I have a large of box of minor spares, Original owner's manual as well as a 3 ring bound and CD workshop manuals. I have an old title that the state of Michigan allows to travel with classic cars showing a transfer of ownership between family members in Texas from July 1991 and showing the car's origins as Darris Hall England, mileage then 36258. Currently the car the shows 40017.
The car is unregistered, uninsured and has not been driven in about a year so I cannot state a condition of roadworthiness. When I did have it on the road I never had any major issues (except the power steering). I no longer have the time, space or resources to keep it going or bring it up to a higher standard and am looking for someone who can. This is a great opportunity for a British car fan who loves rarity and would like to own a very interesting piece of British motoring history at a reasonable price.
