Came across this when I was checking for Escort GT parts on the FEOA forum. It looks well done and I dig the completely clean sleeper look.

Like the car. But a serious douche move to say "make an offer of what you think it's worth". Okay, it's worth $3k to me. Seller would be offended.
Do you think he'd be offended if I offered $2K and told him I was cutting the roof off to swap over my cage from the BG? Asswipe.
^ lolz.
Yeah I don't understand the folks who will list something for sale but won't give an asking price.
Maybe he doesn't actually know what to ask for it.
Looks like a neat car with a proud owner who really doesn't want to sell it. I'm betting the seller values that car way more than I do. I like the sleeper look on it.

DO IT, DO IT, DO IT, . . . .
I agree that he has this priced in his mind for more than it's worth. I also thunk he really doesn't know how much to ask.
the bargaining chip if he wants crackpipe money
As clean as the escort is it's not worth half of what the fast, logbooked, 323 package with spares is.
Seller said: I am also considering trades plus cash. I am into fox body mustangs and small block fords(86-95 302/351w) that have been seriously and professionally built to produce over 350hp.
I laughed. He wants a professionally built SBF car PLUS CASH for his homegrown ticking time bomb of a car.
Seems legit.
That motor won't last long at those boost pressures out of that turbo.
With all the coin he dropped on it, you think he would swap out the motorized seatbelts for regular ones

Not as easy to find as you think.
Yeah, I think $4k is a fair price. $1500 for a clean roller Escort LX and $2500 for the drivetrain. I understand it's cool that it's a 4 door LX which makes it more of a sleeper, but I think there would be more interest in terms of $$ if he would have started with an Escort GT.

I would like it better if it were based on a Tracer LTS.
I like this turbocharged Escort quite a bit better:
