Its nice, but $300,000.00 to build and selling for somewhere North of $150,000.00 with two days to go. I just don't understand I guess. I hope it has a top at least because there is not one shown. For comparison, really nice CST original first gen Blazers or quality restorations typically sit for months or even years looking for $50,000.
Drugs are bad, kids.
its a very cool ride, for like 25-30k$.
It's got the ring brothers name but in no way would I pay a $100K premium for that build with a crate motor.
For $150K I could get a garage full of cool cars.
Definitely looks like someone's labor of love. The Ring Brothers are known to be some of the best at what they do. And for some, $300K is pocket change... so who knows.
I need to get a famous name, so I can sell my projects for 6 figures
I stopped looking at BAT long ago. Everything on there is crazytown. Especially this!

You have to figure that this is like wine or art, every financial crisis, the returns on normal investments down. So the money goes into classic cars and paintings, etc!
Sold for $300,000.00. I guess I am missing something. I do not see $300,000 in the cost of the build as claimed, and I do not see $300,000 in value for a pretty run of the mill blazer with some cheap updates. It kind of reminds me of the time I went to a charity auction and some wealthy friends bid up a $40.00 wheelbarrow to around $5000.00. Same lack of relationship between the item and the dollars changing hands. But at least in that case I could see where the money was actually going. This thing has a crate engine, what appears to be a Camaro steering wheel and a bunch of Summit Racing hop up parts. If a hard top is included it is not mentioned or pictured. Perhaps there is $150,000 in th fancy touch screen and cowl hood.
Crack pipe. Insane.
....A NICE full size bronco sold here recently for $1,500

Well, that's just fluffing out of touch with reality. The seller (who, honestly, may also be the buyer) is in the comments talking about how for some people 300k is change on the nightstand at a time when 20 million people are insta-jobless.

You know, that is a good point, you could self deal your own vehicles on BAT and not break the law.... Free advertising!
In reply to Dave M (Forum Supporter) :
write it off as marketing expense

And serves to inflate the perceived value of your *checks notes* $300k Blazers.
I wonder if it's like thag funny Hollywood math (all films lose money). I think to major cost on this is the labor - they probably "bill" over $100 / hr per person. Throw a few guys on it and it adds up quick.
