E36 M3, I missed that part, it probably got better mileage with the 4 cylinder.

So you take a desirable engine, undesirable trans and put it in a so so body and end up with something that is more expensive than a GT, slower than a GT, and doesn't get much better mileage than a GT. Makes no sense to me!

I think the seller meant high-20's when he wrote "high 20 MPG" in the write-up.

That said, this is another reverse alchemy job; I think there's some real demand for a clean Fox sedan like that, the engine should really go somewhere more truck-like, but put together it's just kind of hard to get excited about.
