I’m pretty sure I’d be up there digging this thing out, if’n I had the day off tomorrow.

I dug a 1957 100-4 out of a sandy dirt backyard on a 100F plus day years ago ,

it had been there more than 20 years , tires were flat , drums were stuck , and the rims were buried in the dirt etc

but I did it in a couple hours by myself , a couple come-alongs and lots of water to drink......

If that was a 356 Porsche  I would be all over it.......even 3000 miles away.....

Those shrouds don't look bad. There are probably some useful parts. I wonder what is left of the frame rails having been buried in mud...

If interested, it's about 40 miles west of Kingston, NY.

40 years in the Catskills outside? "Free" is more like, "Clean up my junk for me".

That shroud is worth an esy 1k because it has sides that have not rotted out. Rear would be worth the same.

I have seen worse restored.

In reply to NOHOME :

That's what I mean. The shrouds on our car were significantly worse than either one appears to be.

That shroud survived specifically because it was removed from the steel support structure. I have no where to keep it to part out or I would make the 200 mile drive to retrieve it.
