I was all ready to dig it out , until I saw "Automatic transmission"
ohhh and its 3000 miles from here !
I hope whoever gets it takes pictures when they pull it out :)
I dug a 1957 100-4 out of a sandy dirt backyard on a 100F plus day years ago ,
it had been there more than 20 years , tires were flat , drums were stuck , and the rims were buried in the dirt etc
but I did it in a couple hours by myself , a couple come-alongs and lots of water to drink......
If that was a 356 Porsche I would be all over it.......even 3000 miles away.....
Those shrouds don't look bad. There are probably some useful parts. I wonder what is left of the frame rails having been buried in mud...
That shroud is worth an esy 1k because it has sides that have not rotted out. Rear would be worth the same.
I have seen worse restored.
In reply to NOHOME :
That's what I mean. The shrouds on our car were significantly worse than either one appears to be.
