I'll take it! Put me on the list please.

The threat of head gasket failure, thankfully, has scared me off.
It scared me off too, when Stampie offered it to me directly (before the raffle).
Now, at least there is only a 33% chance I’ll end up with it. I figure if I win the raffle, it will be a sign, and I HAVE to build something cool out of it!

Is it too late to reduce that to a 25% chance?
In reply to Fladiver64 :
It is not. You have the fourth raffle ticket. In related news Lil Stampie asked if he could have a ticket. Because I'm a somewhat average parent I denied him permission to enter the raffle. Do all of you have your parents permissions?
In reply to Stampie :
My father is 94 years old and has dementia. He’s the perfect guy to give permission for a bad idea like this!

If I enter and win can I immediately give it to lil stampie?
In reply to Daylan C :
Unfortunately his dad would still say no ... Wait a minute ... That would in theory wipe out my budget ...
In reply to SVreX :
He's underage so in theory everything of his is actually mine. Sucks to be a kid in the Stampie household.
Less than 20 hours to go. Anyone else what to enter? So far we have:
RacetruckRon
SVreX
Tom
Fladiver64
I'll be doing the raffle once I get off work tomorrow around 5pm EST.
I've never been more excited!
Question: Will you take it back after I do a few rallycrosses with it?
Our plans include m90, intercooler, megasquirt, and e85. We might get good at replacing head gaskets. Looking forward to drawing.
My plans include a great deal of worry, perhaps including some fearful tears.
Followed by huge quantities of anxiety trying to figure out how the heck I’m gonna hide the darned thing from my wife.
Eventually, it becomes a motor donor into something much lighter and nimbler. Finished weight should be about 2400 lbs.
That should give me a weight/ power/ ratio of about 7:1 without any power adders.
Oh I forgot...
Total all-in budget? NEGATIVE $1000!
Real world dollars- not Challenge math.
(I’ve already got the car)

Are you trying to start a new class less than zero? Or reverse half challenge budget?
In reply to Fladiver64 :
Well technically in the current rules, negative budgets are impossible. You can’t recoup more than you spend on any one item.
So right now, my Challenge budget would be $0, with $650 in recoup. My real dollar investment would be -$1000, with $650 spent and $1650 recouped.
I have absolutely no idea how I'll get this from Florida to my house if I win this. This could be interesting.

You could pick up an L99 on the return trip to fix the headgasket problem though.
In reply to Patrick :
Quite possible but not sure how much boost it could take with stock compression ratio. I have not done the math yet since we have not won the raffle, but we have one on the shelf with a $20 value so it was an idea.
