High quality custom designed and fabricated light weight Autocross/Track Day tire-tool box trailer. This trailer was built with no cost spared. It consist of of a Harbor Freight class "A" trailer with an aluminum plate covering the trailer bed. It has a lockable tool box. Your jack, tools and everything else you need for the event can be stored in the tool box. It also has a custom designed and fabricated tire housing. The housing is made from aluminum diamond plate. The bottom of the housing is contoured to fit the tires and is recessed below the bottom of the trailer bed.
Specs:
- Class "A" trailer with the standard connector for the lights, 8" wheels with wheel bearing grease caps and zert fittings.
- The bed of the trailer is 48" long x 40" wide
- The tool box is a lockable Contico 37" Pro Tuff Box, ~ 40" wide x 20" deep x 20.5" tall.
- The tire box has a lockable latch handle and has external dim of 40" wide x 26" deep x 20.5" tall, Internal dim = 39 1/4" wide x 26" deep x 24 1/2" tall. Tires as tall as 17" ( 25.2" diameter) will fit. the combined width of the 4 tires must be considered, for example four 225/50/15 tires fit with room to spare. e-mail/text me with the width and height of your 4 tires and I will let you know if they will fit. Access to the onside of the tire box is easy given that the when you open the box the front and top of the box open together. No need to lift the wheels and lower them into a tall box.
