The BMW is interesting. The front end was replaced at some point, but then it was totaled by the insurance co?

Its probably donated with a reserve (like that BMW "Ute" from a few weeks ago)
The IAA listing of the 325is does not name an owner. If it were a genuine insurance sale it would then say something like State Farm or Geico. Since it says nothing my guess is just a private sale. I'm not sure why its listed as front end damage but I've seen similar before. I'll be that its a drop down menu for listing these cars and selecting damage. I'll bet that front end is the first choice of the drop down menu.
Currently at $2,250 bid
BMW looks suspiciously like it was repaired and abandoned at the repair facility for non-payment.
The BMW has a more recent engine. Swapped in from an E36 or e34 it looks like.
