14.5 for a car with no top or title?
In reply to Stampie :I have a VIN tag and title for a 914, think anyone would notice? In PA with antique tags no one official looks, but a traffic stop could be interesting!
That car has been for sale forever. He has some other "interesting" cars including a MK2 Jag that was cut down into a two door convertible, so it looks kind of like an XK150. But that is not an excuse, you could get it registered in Vermont and then get a title in any state unless the car has a history that is why it has a lost title....... It does look like a solid car, but you can make these much more interesting for that kind of money and certainly have a better sense of style. This one currently on BAT is a good example Scorpion on BAT

I read a few days back that Vermont has closed their loophole.
Well that is not good news to those of us who just needed to get a title for an old car that had been sitting in a back yard for 40 years. Guess it was taken advantage of too much. Bummer as it was great when there was no other way to get a title done.
