Anyone in the mid-atlantic area interested in a turn-key PF car? I've raced this 2006 Mazda 3s for the last 2.5 seasons and it's been an extremely reliable and quick car. Looking to change things up for next season so I figured I'd see if anyone would be interested in it as-is before I take all the goodies off.
Some features:
Professionally installed MFactory race pack LSD
ABS is deleted
Mazdaspeed3 springs with KYB shocks
Aluminum Skid Plate (it's pretty stout but will need some repair this winter)
I'll throw a set of wheels with worn but serviceable gravel tires.
Mazdaspeed front seat
Located in south central PA.
Lowered price for GRM $2000.

Uhhh, what?!

It's true! I have vehicular ADHD so it's time to find it a new driver.
I should mention that'd I'd consider trades especially for a miata.

Ha! Do you even fit in a Miata?
Hows the rust? Is it daily-able?

OOOooohh and me looking for the next car. Missed the $1200 Civic on Marketplace.
There is some rust in the normal spots you'd expect but I've definitely seen much worse. If you were to take the side skirts of there might be some surprises hidden there but I'm not sure. It's not currently inspected because I didn't need 5 cars on the road during the pandemic, so I've just been trailering it to events lately. I'm sure it'd pass inspection again.
You could daily it if you were comfortable with the abs delete and mods made to the car to fab skid plate mounts. Also the poly speed3 engine mounts cause a decent amount of NVH (looks like I forgot to mention those in the list of upgrades). It's also got Speed3 front seats that I forgot to list, which are pretty nice.
Now that I'm pretty sure I won't be driving in PF this year I figured I'd bump this thread. Don't really need to sell it but on the other hand it kinda sucks just seeing the car sit around unused. So, figured I'd see if anyone was interested.
I was going to look at this car last weekend and forgot. Grrrr....

2.0 or 2.3 ?
2.3. Luckily, it seems to be a pretty healthy one - no oil loss/burning issues.

I didn't bring it to last weekend's event, but if you want to take a look at it, just let me know.
In reply to GeddesB :
By the way if you are looking for a different car one of my buddies was really interested in buying your SER whenever you're done with it.
In reply to HopmanJones :
Will you be at the next event? If so please look me up.
In reply to GeddesB :
I will be there but just to let you know I'm not planning on bringing the 3 as I switched to awd.
In reply to SKJSS (formerly Klayfish) :
Yes, still available
Bump. Still available, still torn on whether I'd rather keep it for other shenanigans, but also know it should not just be sitting in my yard being unused. I'd like to move this to a loving home if possible. Make an offer!
Dusty from rallycross :)
As I recall everything is good except for a small crack in the dashboard that leads from the windshield to the opening for the defrost. It's all stock otherwise except for the mazdaspeed3 front seats.
Bumping for a reduced price for GRM fam, $2k. Have $1500 into the diff alone.
Does ac, radio, etc... work? Do you have more pictures of it?
