A location would be helpful, since you need to bid in person.
I was hoping to a combination of the three.

Looks like Rifle, CO based on the website (that surprisingly doesn't play music on the homepage).
I'd love to snag that Rover but Rifle, CO is a long way away if attempting to buy a non-runner. :(
Aren't those Rovers made from aluminum? That Rover would be well worth the bids if it is. More than likely would need some interior improvements due to the sun. That Willys has a V8 in it.
The auction is at: 7616 County road 320 Rifle Colorado. In case you did not notice the web page
Lol! :0D. I just notice that they are all convertibles in a way. I seem to find alot of them in my searches for cars.
No one else has looked and noticed that Keith is like an hour away? I at least resisted asking him what he's doing tomorrow.

The Flatfender has a 231 oddfire V6.
And most of the body is aluminum on that S3 Rover, but the bulkhead isn't and it and the frame are known to rust bad.
Not a bad little Series III. Safari top and a deluxe bonnet, and what I can see of the bulkhead isn't too terrifying. Upper doors look good and no sign of galvanic corrosion on the body, which bodes well. They tend to live a long time in this climate. Someone could do well on that if they wanted, the value of Series Rovers has gone up. I even have a repairable bulkhead in my shed.
Listing says it's a diesel. Should just about be able to keep up with continental drift.

TIL that there are places in Colorado named Parachute, Rifle, Antlers, Silt, New Castle and Chacra.
And, of course...Woody Creek. Sounds like a nice place.
Also, I want that Flatfender.

Woody Creek is where Hunter S Thompson lived.
I'm going mountain biking at Horsethief Bench today.
