Seems a bit expensive but that's the best condition one that I've seen in years.

That's a solid specimen. I've seen them advertised for more, though I don't know if they got sold. I do a semi-regular search for them and they sure are uncommon. Would like to see one with a V8 swap, would be a fun sleeper.

At this point it might be easier (though not cheaper) to import a Ford Scorpio from Europe than to find one already here in the States.

Curbstoner.  Knows berkeley all about the car except what Wikipedia says, and 289ci v6?  I'm guessing he paid some old guy $500 for it last week

They are great cars. I've had a couple.

I had a modded one as a daily for a few years. Loved it.

Hard to find parts for, and prone to rust in the rear arches. I'd have another for a daily if they were less of a hassle to maintain.

Finding one w/o rust is rare.

My uncle liked them.  Ford version. UK.  It had problems with the windshield wipers.  They were so cheap he'd buy one and drive it for a couple of years until it died and then just buy another to rinse and repeat.  He drove a lot so they must have been comfortable.  smiley
