Repost from my infodump of massive proportions last week. Theres actually a second '62 Jag "4 door" listed on Indy's CL as well, no pictures though.

to restore that car,done well, could cost $50.K easy. and nothing is more worthless than an old rusted jag, parts are insane prices(if available).

The 2.4 litre was the economy, downmarket version.

I absolutely adore these cars, but they are the prime example of "buy the best you can afford." There are plenty of good ones that would sell for less than the sum of their parts.
