Not the *most* GRM thing, but I'm trading down to an FRS (which is already purchased) and I'm selling my old daily driver.
2016 Volkswagen Golf R
$26,250 OBO
6 speed manual, DCC, Navigation, 50,900 mi
Original clutch gave up soon after I bought it (at 30k mi) and I had a Southbend Stage 2 clutch installed. The previous owner had installed a crappy foam filter (I call them "hot air" intakes), and I traded a guy locally for a GTI intake. They're *slightly* different so the extra port on the GTI intake is just plugged up.
Full disclosure, this car is tuned, though I personally wasn't aware of that until a potential buyer helped me look into it and after many emails to many tuners, United Motorsports came back and said it was theirs, but it was an old tune. It is meant for a stock (or stock-ish) configuration, so it's not crazy, but the car MOVES. If you want it flashed back to stock, I can get that done but it would take a trip to Austin, or you can take it to the tuner of your choice after taking the car. I don't like to modify my daily drivers, so I was surprised to find the tune...
I switched the car to Passat 18in wheels, the ride on the 19's with 35-section tires was not good, and after bending a wheel on a pot hole I had had enough and went to less wheel and more sidewall. This thing looks so pedestrian, the ultimate modern sleeper.
I'm open to any and all questions, and reasonable offers!
