I just started looking at a QX56 as my next truck.  Any interest in the old one?

Dang can't edit the title for an added comma.

You turned me onto the fact that Nissan put the V8 in the Pathfinder in the first place. How much are you asking? I assume that it's terrible on fuel, but makes cool V8 sounds.

I get about 15mpg mostly city driving, my best highway was 19mpg going 75mph, typical highway is 17mpg.  I mostly drive like an old man in this hauling kids.

Autotrader lists this truck for $9-10k, plan on listing it for $8500, GRM price $7500.  Ok, just looked, all the ones on Autotrader look like junk compared to mine.

Basically my wife is right, the third row seat is too small for 6' tall 13 year olds.  I absolutely love this truck, but have to agree about needing more room for five people and our stuff.  For me it is the perfect size truck, seats seven, pulls 7000 lbs, nice enough inside and out.

I'm not so sure the QX56 will have that much better of a third row, but if it does...

I would look at a $28k-ish Armada SV before the Infiniti. Sure, the SV is considered "low option" but it still has heated seats, gps, back camera, and self close hatch.

Direct you sights to Hertz and Enterprise car sales websites.

Current gas mileage is 15.3 average with my 14 mile commute on back roads.  This is with a light foot which is all that is needed with the 5.6 litre.    Just to make sure it still had all the power, I mashed the go pedal this morning, it will still spin the tires easily, of course the tires are old and crusty.

My daughter is interested in it but she has one more year on her lease.  I also offered it to a friend for $7000 plus his 2001 Mercury Mountaineer V8.  The Merc will serve as a project for my boys and their first car.  Of course only if he wants it and only if I find a replacement.  Blah Blah blah.
