173,000 miles / Asking $10,000 - make offer / Fuquay-Varina, NC
1989 BMW 325i 2-door that was built to pursue NASA Spec E30. I did a few track days with it since then, but never got around to racing it. At this point, I don't have enough time to dedicate to using it like I wished (racing). Note that some safety equipment (seats and belts especially) have expired but would be fine for driving schools. Racing would likely require replacement or modification (i.e. seat back brace).
It runs well but is not registered, insured, or tagged. That said, quick test drives "around the block" would be possible. I have title in hand for quick sale.
Major Highlights: * Suspension upgrades to Spec E30 rules * Engine tuneup * RRT welded roll cage * Race seats and harnesses * Other race/track prep as detailed on website
See http://www.vexate.net/spec-e30/ for more details and contact info.

"Nearly"? You should finish it and get a logbook if you want to move it quickly at that price point. Nothing inspires confidence like a fresh annual tech sticker!
GLWS. It looks like a nice car.
That seems almost too nice to take on track with the crazy spec e30 people

In reply to Giant Purple Snorklewacker:
While the price is negotiable, your suggestion of just completing the build is a very good one indeed. Maybe if I complete the build I'll force myself to use it
Thanks.
^What GPS says, yet again^
Finish it, get a logbook for it, sort it out, and sell it early next spring to someone who's got The White Hot Burning Race Desire. Deliver it to the spring NASA comp license school at VIR at no extra charge, profit!
