Nice 1968 Volvo 122S in RI, $6500

Not mine, etc...

I think these might be the smartest vintage cars.

I almost hesitate to share this because if this were June, I think I'd be a player in this game.

*I will not respond to "is this available?"* Making the difficult decision to part ways with my '68 122S. Healthy B18 engine with a Weber carburetor upgrade and a solid four speed manual transmission. Clutch, brakes, exhaust are all great. Tires are older, but in decent shape. Interior, including seats, headliner and dash pad are all in fantastic shape with no tears or cracks. Everything works as it should with the exception of the speedometer and odometer. Car does have some rust on the underside and evidence of previous bodywork and paint work. However, this is a very presentable driver quality car that turns heads wherever it goes! Asking $6,500 or best reasonable offer.

The 122 or a P1800 would be  the best Classic Cars to own if you wanted to actually drive them all the time. Great investment for the post-nuclear apocalypse  era when all this new  digital E36 M3 turns into yard-art.

There was a very nice one here, dunno if it was one of us or a GRM project .     Clean as hell with a roll bar.

It really is amazing how modern they feel compared to other cars from the era. I did an 8 hour roadtrip on the interstate in a 544 and it was actually pleasant.
