....so maybe not a scam. If the map is correct this is very close to me but I can't tell from the pictures where at as I've only really biked/drove this neighborhood haven't gotten to walk it yet and to be honest I wouldn't walk it late at night like I used to the other side of the city. I'll keep an eye out for the locale though wouldn't be the first time I've tracked down a car by the pics. 
I know nothing about the value of these but the engine alone should be that much right?
The more I look at this pic I realize it's probably the inspection center. The other one I kinda have a thought but I recognize it more from getting deliberately lost.
It's local, as is the number.
But that price isn't correct, or the "tuneup" it needs is internal.
Or someone is pranking the owner.
None of the trades listed are typically $1800 unless they are "junk"
I’ve seen them listed for similar prices needing a “tune up” because of a misfire. The coil packs could go bad or I believe the cam could be worn or other internal issues.
I've seen 2.7s and 3.5s that low, but never an R/T without serious issues.
I dunno. An 11-year-old car with 180k and was in a front end collision at some point and not replaced with a painted nose piece. probably tried to trade it off and was offered 1500 and is hoping to get more than that. Also could have gotten bad (expensive) news at the inspection station and got frustrated enough to sell it then and there. I give it 65/45, not scam/scam.
That car isnt worth more than $1800 because of who owns it. Does that sound messed up? Might be a decent part out. IF the engine is good it'd be a decent challenge car once stripped and excess niceties sold off.
Me, im still looking for an actually nice flame red '08 2.7 for reasons. <$4k, prefer in Texas. Yes, im serious. Yall would know!
