That there's a GMC motor home, the only motor home ever mass produced by a major US automaker. Yes it is FWD and has a 455. Big following and worth something to the right buyer.

Remember, folks. The majority of the strength of the shell comes from the cabinetry and such that has been removed. The ladder frame (or whatever it uses underneath) will be fine, but this is a giant soda can right now, one gust of wind from a passing semi and it'll be flattened.
Put some cross bracing up before you drive it home.

Not so. The body is actually pretty strong, it can be lifted off the chassis with minimal if any reinforcement. I cut one apart, I should know. The body is built on an aluminum ribcage, with fiberglass and aluminum panels glued on. And not some cheap glue, the old stuff that gave off nasty fumes but held together. What is flimsy is the brake system, front wheel bearings rear suspension airbags, tranny, rotten plywood floor and rusty frame. All can be upgraded but not cheap.
