I'm a big Wanderlodge booster now that I have one, and I thought I would post links to cheap one that pop up, along with Flxibles, schoolies, Barth's and the like. Feel free to add your own. Since it's my thread I am going to suggest self propelled only, and under $10,000.00.
Here is the first. It's a 1980 FC35 for $8,000.00

Great, an enabling thread.
That's tempting. 800 miles away though. I wonder if it would make it to Charleston SC.

It would. Take some tools and some time and you will get there. The driveline is bulletproof.
I love the Wanderlodges, but not too impressed with the Cat 3208 engine.
Drive out with a car loaded with tools and a tow bar. Drive home with your little car in tow.

Having had three, its a great motor.
No first hand experience, but I've read on the interwebs they don't like to be run at full duty cycle. I would think that is what it would have to do in a Wanderlodge that travels a lot.
But if I knew that would make it home, I would almost be in.
Keep them coming.
Already broke my budget rule but I thought this was cool. Actually that is about a dollar in American anyway. It's been for sale for a while so you never know.

13' "storage" area. NA Miata is 12'10" long. Ready made toy hauler.
$7500.00 Wanderlodge in Georgia. Apparently the pics are a couple years old. It's crying out for a Cummins swap. Or at least your wallet will after dumping 110 gallons of gas in and getting to the end of your driveway...

That International is cool, although the "Max 90 KPH" sign is a bit concerning.

Wow, quite a project, but if you were already planning a ground-up build this would be a hell of a deal.

3208 in an 80k truck was perhaps asking a bit much. in a 28k RV, it will outlast you. It will also pull hills without any hassle. The one in our rig is 28 years old, has almost 200k, starts on the first half revolution, and gets 11.5 mpg. I can't complain.

Cheaper FC near me on Craigslist. I am pretty sure i have seen this one at our local ski hill. It leaves a big black cloud and has if I remember an aftermarket turbo. The comment about needing an inspection makes me think he probably got a DOT roadside inspection. The photos are older by the date stamp.

I occasionally see them for sale on FB for under $10K, but no cheap ones right now. The cheapest is a very nice '97 model that looks like a Vegas hotel room inside for $69K.

!!!! you have to be kidding me! That's amazing!
I always wondered what celebrity tour busses were like and I suppose I've found it
In reply to bearmtnmartin :
That last one was made for Wally, it already has his name on it.

I could actually look at that one as it is only 2 hours from me. But it does not look good, even as a project.
