Yes, but I'd like to see a bit more color on the exterior. Maybe a touch of chrome or some orange highlights to tie in the interior.

Just swap those black wheels for silver or bronze and it'll look better.
I like the restoration, but unfortunately, it was done to someone else's taste.
I really wish that I could have bought one of these cars new.
That car that's got a fair few nice elements, but doesn't know what it wants to be. Is it a race car? No, there's no mention of engine work, and it looks to be on stock rubber bushings. Is it a fun driver? Maybe, but it's going to be loud without a carpet and inconvenient with all the cage tubing, and those tires are too wide to be fun on on public roads with ~130hp (assuming the engine is close to factory specs). And the fender vents are hideous. But in the current market I would expect it to sell close to asking.

You may be right. This could be an effort to make it streetable without pulling the cage and fuel cell while dressing it up some.

What would it cost to replicate, how long to build and how long to de-bug?
Color change would cost $20k so if that is not to your taste, then nope, not worth it.

I can't help but agree with you. It's almost like it's too track-focused to be a street car, but also too street-focused to be a race car.
