Selling my black 2006 Prius. Cat was stolen off it. 198,000 miles. 12V battery dead. Hybrid battery pack had 5 bad cells and I replaced those. Couldn't get code to reset to get it running. Clean Ohio title. Interior is dirty but complete. Tires are ok. Pass side doors are dented at bottom, but function properly. Cracked windshield. Been sitting for a few months now. No time or energy to deal with it. Would like $1,000. Probably won't take less than $500. Make an offer somewhere in between those 2 numbers and it's yours. Will probably need towed unless you bring a new 12V battery and can figure out how to reset the hybrid pack.

VERY Interested. I'm about to go into a meeting, I'll send you a PM later tonight. How's the rust ?
In reply to Indy - Guy :
Cool. Pretty good. There were a couple ground wires that had corrosion that were cleaned off last year, not sure if from rust or battery acid. Pretty rust free for Ohio.
Put me in second position behind Indy-Guy. I'm located in Sandusky, OH. I have less free time than I previously had but we can get something worked out.
I'll be honest, the price I have in mind is closer to $500 than $1k.
Do you have pics? If you cant post them here you could send them to my phone...4one9...54one...one335
I'd want to see how bad the body damage is.
How dirty, worn is the interior?
How bad is the windshield crack? Line of sight?
In reply to John Welsh :
I'll try to get some pics tomorrow after work. If Indy-Guy doesn't take it, you're 2nd in line. I'm negotiable on price for sure, just trying to lose as little as possible.
PM sent.
My intentions would be to put it back on the road, not parts car.
Whoever ends up with this and you have time I would be open to a small GRM Delaware meet.
In reply to Aaron_King :
We've made a deal.
I'm heading over next weekend to pick it up. I need to coordinate borrowing / renting a trailer and set a day / time. But it'll happen. Stay tuned.
In reply to Indy - Guy :
Uhaul dolly rental is like $50 per day (24 hour rental), if you pick up and return to the same place. That means you have to haul an empty dolly to (rattle and loud-ish but not unsafe) and then haul the dolly back full. If you rent the same Uhaul dolly one-way it is more like $150 but you get it for a couple of days.
Uhaul is like $60 per 24hr for a full car trailer and it hauls empty much better.
You'd be less than 3 hours each way so you should be able to one-day the trip.
If this is a weekend thing, I might join for the meet-up, 1.5 hours away and bring what I have/know.
If you want an extra set of hands for the pick up give me a shout.
In reply to 90BuickCentury :
Just recently read that it can take a handful of power cycles to clear the red death triangle after a traction/hybrid battery repair.
