That's a 73 with the 2.0 and the good transmission, so it's the best of the four cylinder 914s. Those Mahle Gas Burners are worth quite a bit too. But yeah, $10k is pretty optimistic for that mess.

Mine is 1974, fuel injected and 5 speed; I believe the 5 speed was an option in '74.  But there's a lot of welding on the brown one.

The 5 speed was standard but the 2.0 was optional.  I miss my 914s a lot but just cannot justify getting back in when the price is so crazy.  They were fun but not worth the dollars a running one gets now.

I kinda miss my 70, but they really aren't great cars. Good, yes, great no. The prices they are commanding, especially the /6 is nuts. And the /6 price gouge has never made sense. Barely more hp than a 2.0, the crappier trans and its not 20k to swap in 911 suspension,  brakes and Fuchs. The best mid engined (affordable) car from this Era is the Europa, but that's not a high bar. If I were going to spend 914/6 money, I'd buy a Ferrari 308.
