Yeah, I messaged the guy too, but figure it is not really $500 for all.... That would be a really cool project and looks like a restoration that got put outside and abused but really looks solid from the limited pictures.
I spoke with the gentleman selling the car and it’s $2650 not $500.

$2650 for all? The Dyag is only worth parting out. The TR3 is too good to part.

I love that TR-3. Not a big fan of the Stag itself but I do like the TR-6 steelies on it.
That actually would be the Stag to have if it was not such a rust bucket. 4 speed with overdrive makes it a V8 with a 6 speed transmission. But if the body is that rusty, the engine is guaranteed to be locked up or missing entirely. Shame, I had a restored one and it was quite a nice car, and sounded amazing with that overhead cam V8. The current owner recently found me and sent me some current pictures of it. Great to see it is still in the same shape as when I sold it. Contrary to popular wisdom, he had driven it across the country several times and has put over 30K miles on it. It was one of the "good" ones.
Wheeler Dealers did a Stag a few years back. It sounded great when it was finished.
