We are looking at slimming down and letting our 86 Prevost go.

Category: Class A

Year: 1986

Manufactured By / Brand: Prevost

Model: XL

Length: 40 feet

Location: Cypress, Texas

Bathrooms: (1) including full height stand-in shower

Beds: (2) twin-side beds, (1) full pull-out

Storage: lots!

Generator: Yes, has 2013 hours on it

Air Conditioning: (3) They work very well.

Engine: 8V92T

Tires: purchased in 2018, have 85% tread life remaining

Seating: VERY comfy white, soft leather. Captain's seat is powered, captain-passenger's seat is reclining (enough to sleep in), couch which pulls out to a twin-sized bed. Front area previously also held a small kitchen table and 2 chairs so there is room if desired.

Plumbing: has been upgraded with a PEX system throughout

Appliances: all are electric. Include full refrigerator, flat cooking range, full microwave, washer/dryer combo*, garbage disposal* ("*" indicates features we have not used and can not verify if they work...we just haven't needed them)

Kitchen features: (2) pull-out slim wire pantries, (1) built-in pull-out space which previously held an ice-maker (didn't work well) but has since held a counter-top air fryer.

Interior Flooring: Carpet in the front half, wood floors through the kitchen, carpet again through the hallway/bathroom/bedroom area.

Entertainment: (1) large TV mounted above the driver, (2) built-in TVs mounted above each twin-sized bed which are wired to individual DVD players (this was a huge favorite for our kiddos)

Exterior: Looks good but has hail damage (from 5 years ago) on roof and one side.

No leaks; cosmetic damage only.

Runs/Operates: Yes. Has taken numerous long haul trips over the past three years including hauling a car-hauler trailer. Has been stored under cover. Previous owners appear to have lived in or spent a good deal of time with this RV because there are quite a few upgrades and customizations.

Why are we selling: Well we have loved this RV but with four little ones we're looking to move to something with 4 bunk beds. With that said we have slept as many as 4 adults and 4 small children in this RV on a 4-day vacation pretty comfortably.

This is awesome, but I don't have room.

That being said....

How much?

$42,500

Guess I left that off.  I wouldn't hesitate driving this thing just about anywhere either.    Plus, for an arrive and drive, you dont need to figure in hotels!

Nice rig!  Before got hooked on the Class 8 Semi truck conversions, we looked at several road bus conversions; but none in that price range were in good enough shape. That one looks great. But if our big boy ever does sell, we'll need something we can afford to drive, for short vacations, now that we don't travel for work.

You'll need to log in to post.
