Yes, if I had not just purchased a restored GT6 and a solid X1/9 this week, I would be up in Baltimore picking this up for sure!

I'm driving to DC next weekend and really don't need another sports car......but this is very tempting.

I'm just happy it went to someone here! Amazed it lasted that long. Way more than $2600 of car there. I am actively Boxster shopping and would love to find something like that locally...

If this was six months ago I'd have one to sell you from our aborted rallycross boxster (round 2) plan. Of course if it was six months ago I would have bought this car for that.

I stumbled on the hardtop in way too nice condition for way too cheap on fb marketplace, keep an eye out and you might get lucky.

So what is a good price for a boxster hardtop?  I am seeing them from 1k (ok paint but headliner needing fixed) to 2.6k (fresh paint) locally.  

$1k for a mechanically sound one is pretty reasonable. My first one was I think $1100 shipped to me, generally good condition but had been repainted at some point and wasn't perfect. The second one was basically pristine aside from a couple of very small scratches in one of the front corners, it was listed on fb for $1k but I somehow managed to get it even cheaper than that. When we decided not to pursue it, I cleaned it up and tossed it on ebay for $1500 and it sold within the week to a semi-local guy with the same color car. If you don't care about the headliner I'd try to negotiate on that one and see what happens.
