Hi All
I don't know much about the car it was part of a package deal for a trailer. From what i see in paperwork and time slips from the track the last time it was ran and raced was in 2013. I believe it is a 1989 RX-7. It has a fire system and full cage, Billstein coil overs with nice fuel system. 4 sets of tires and rims, 3 transmissions, brake parts, ECU's, coils, track lap counter system, and many other parts. Body is in rough shape but the car does come with extra fenders, doors, and hood. I charged the battery and put 5 gallons of fuel in it and the car fired right up after 7 years. The motor sounds strong and runs decent for sitting for that long. Looks like the oil and filter are new. I have extra oil and filers as well.. I personally would clean out the fuel system if i was planning on keeping the car... Asking $5000 OBO.
Email me @ banshee772000@yahoo.com if you are interested. Sorry for the first time post but i will check back here daily
Whereabouts are you located?
Also might be worth mentioning if any logbooks (probably SCCA judging by the classing) come with the car or not.
Located in New York. I think i actually do have a log book in the paperwork that was given to me. I do not have a title for the car but i would certainly do a bill of sale.
Above the driver door has the guys name that raced the car. I googled him and this is the only picture of the car i found. Also has some dates he raced and positions he finished at some tracks.

I'd recommend checking for the logbook as it'll make it a lot easier for the next owner to put the car back on track. Bill of sale only is pretty normal for a race car.
Yes i have two log books.
Do you know the spec of the cage?
In reply to greenfieldhippi :
It says it right there in the log book.
I would really like to move this car. Lots of parts to go with it. Make me an offer!
That car is an 86 through 88 with an 89 through 91 engine. Fyi.
Nice car. Worth the asking price!
That is one beefy cage for a car of that weight!
Should be around 150 whp and 2400#. Not bad.
I kind of want. If that had been available 1 year ago, I would own it.
My wife is so happy this is so far away, lol.
In reply to wvumtnbkr : You should come and check it out! Need it gone!
i wouldn't be surprised if you find a 4.30 rear end in there either, this is a great price for a great buy
New year anyone looking for a good deal?

If it's still around in April I'd be very interested, but as of right now I can't stretch the budget that far.
I'd love it but NY to FL is a haul.
This would be a perfect lemons or champcar.
I'd list it on champcar.org on the forum. Betcha it sells fairly quick.
