Can't open the link but scam of some sort. There have been a number of them popping up. And pictures of FD rx7s saying they are selling a Miata for $1500 or so.
I don't know. Totally trashed chassis may not be much more than that. I mean no guessing what all is missing and having it sit exposed to weather for 2 decades, I can't see it worth all that much. Maybe 2-3K but this basically a chassis at this rate no guessing how much of that is even left. It didn't end up there just for the heck of it.
Top it off, It's an Auto
Looks like a real mess. They're basically paying someone to get that filthy junk off their lawn at this point, it doesn't matter that it's a rare sports car.

Thats a 2JZ-GTE ... even if its seized, the core is worth that.
Not sure about the auto ... they also say its a Celica.
Seems to be some kind of fad/joke that's been going around for a little while now, here's another: https://swva.craigslist.org/cto/d/wytheville-1998-celica/7281919896.html

Yeah, it's a meme or scam of some sort. I saw one on Charlotte CL earlier this week. Silver, RHD, mk4 Supra with 60 or 80k miles labeled as a Celica. the listing claimed the car "belonged to my ex-husband. I don't know why he was so obsessed with it."
