Glass! I fear these custom coaches because all the glass is custom. A custom windshield of that size will set you back a fortune. Basically, any broken glass totals out the vehicle.

I'm dreaming of a lemons car with the heart of the cts-v sitting in my garage. Lexan would be fine :)

This made my day. I really needed a laugh.
Chop it up into an El Camino-like setup and most of the custom glass goes away. Should be a fun little project.

But why? There's a 500 cube V8 right there.
That hearse isn't old enough to be really cool, especially with that nugget truck sitting right next to it.
It would be easy to sleep in the back, as long as you aren't creeped out about how many thousands of dead bodies have been in it.
i can see switching the name in the back window to "STAMPIE"
Have you been checking my Google searches lately? This is freakishly timed, other than the fact that I can't drive, have no room for it and don't wanna haul it when I move in a few months.
Waaaay more than $675 in parts there. A new local owner could do quite well parting it and scrapping the carcass.
BTW it's a 472 unless the 500 was swapped in later. But it's the high compression 472, so arguably better than the 500.

I dunno, I thought it would be cool
I still want to see this thing body rolling around the autocross course, sending hubcaps into unwary corner worker's ankles

New autox class?
We have CAM... maybe COM for comedy class? Doing a three-point turn in the hairpin would be pretty dang funny.

Oh man, that'd be a amazing - this thread has done nothing to reduce the want, but fortunately (unfortunately) the space, time, money continuum has dictated that I can't even consider it. Though the wife, as per usual, was onboard with getting it - what a keeper.
One day I will build a funky track car with 4 race seats for giving rides in.
