Per the CL ad, I'm selling a 1997 S52 swapped 318ti. Bought it to start autocrossing again but plans have changed due to a military move. Please see the ad for more details. Thanks.

Only problem is that you can get a clean e36 m3 for less. You have to really want a ti to make this worth the price.
Swap over the M3 front brakes? Have the M Coupe/Roadster rear diff, axles, rear battery box, brakes etc?

I peed a little after reading this. I blame the superbowl.

It says e46 front brakes, the ti world normally does e46 330 fronts as they were just as good(if not better) as the e36m but lacked the ///M tax.

I really don't want to get into an argument about which car is worth the money but from searching around, most of the clean E36 M3's that you can find for this price range are either automatic or convertible, neither or which I am a fan of. I'm sure there are some good ones out there for less money but the ones I've seen for this price, are not in as good of a shape as my car is.
When I bought the car, the swap was already done so as far as information on the diff and brakes, from what I've seen and searching online for numbers stamped on both, it seems that the diff housing is from a Z3 and the brakes are from an E46 325. The car pulls hard and corners like a go kart which is what hurts me most about selling it before taking it to my first autocross. Thanks for looking.
It looks like a very nice build and a decent price, not to mention cheaper than you could build it for. I love the dynamics of the compact and throwing on an extra 100hp would be a riot
