We have a 2004, Metallic green with white stripes, good condition over all/looks really nice, needs a rear brake line, but could be easily driven with care. Runs GREAT, really fast and fun.
Pretty new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and throw out bearing, supercharger serviced at appropriate mileage point. Current inspection sticker.
Even though some expensive repairs were done it currently needs, rear brake line (replace or repair with a compression fitting if just for the Challenge) and maybe an exhaust at some point later on. Located on the Upper Cape, in Sandwich, MA. Like to get $1,500.
We’ve got receipts for all the work, there were a few other things done when the clutch was done.
Damn, you're selling exactly what I'm looking for. I had an R53 before with a fully upgraded suspension and I really miss that car, most fun car I've had. I've been looking for one locally in Ohio but all the ones I find are really beat up. I want to get one to gut and turn into a track / occasional weekend "canyon" car. How's the underside? Any damage from accidents or rust? Mileage? Thanks
How is it underneath rust wise?
Underside is as nice as the top side, no damage or anything like it. A basic rust free car all around no accidents at all. Pretty much lived as a toy for fun days off. One car in a fleet of five so use was just periodic. Wanted to show a clear shot of the only interior damage (to the driver's seat) though. Otherwise as nice as can be inside. Well maintained, everything taken care of when needed, supercharger service was pricey but had to be done before a certain mileage was reached, kind of a "Mini" thing that everyone knows about. That sort of stuff. Could get some shots of underneath of you need, we're fat and the car has a low stance, but we have a floor jack and could try . . . I'll get the mileage for you as well, as the supercharger was recently done, it's probably just a smidge beyond that recommended servicing.
Not in the market but damn that seems like a screaming deal!!

I used to live in Sandwich....

Yeah, trying to keep it "forum friendly" and pass it along to someone who appreciates the little pocket rockets or is maybe looking to get into the Challenge at the right price with the right car.

It's the perfect Challenge car!
Mileage? ANYTHING else major besides brake line if you were going to drive it 20 hours after purchase?
I see you have an 80. would you let a fellow cruiserhead fix the brake line in your driveway?

I have an '05 with upgraded suspension, brakes, intercooler, etc. Adult driven, never tracked. Not $1500. I don't want to hijack this thread, but if you're interested shoot me a message.
Oh, I'm in FL, no rust at all. Ohio isn't that far......
In reply to cruisermatt :
No issues at all other than the rear brake line being blown out and needing replacement. Car runs great and is very well maintained. Doubt that Bruce would mind at all if you wanted to poke the Mini in the driveway. Shoot him an email at revbug@aol.com and see what he thinks, OK?
Also is it still available? I'm interested, but really having a hard time trying to find to be able to come and get it
In reply to inglewoodjack7888 :
Still available for now, couple of folks getting serious. Finding a means of shipping it back to where you're located would be nearly impossible for a reasonable price in today's world.
In reply to MuSTANK :
Ok. Yea I'm getting shipping quotes $600-$700 which is not worth it. I'll just keep an eye on this post and if it doesn't sell I'll reach out down the road to maybe set something up. Thanks

Any pictures under the hood? How many miles? Located in RI.
In reply to emsman1 :
It has around 135,000 miles on it, all of the required factory maintainance has be done to the car coinciding within the mileage points. Runs great ! I'll have Bruce post some photos of the engine, really not much to see with all of the factory bulkheads and covers in place though.

Trying to convince my friend in Wareham to buy it
In reply to docwyte :
Wareham is really just right around the corner for the most part. Neat car, easy fix, great condition, nice to see it stay relatively local. With just the smallest amount of skill, he could easily drive it from Sandwich to Wareham. Of course, a AAA flatbed or U-Haul tow dolly that distance would be cheap as well. We brought the Vega back from the Lake District of New York to Carver, MA on a tow dolly without an incident.
Wondering how crusty she is underneath...
