It certainly wouldn't matter weather your trailer was aerodynamic or not. Just shove a big hole in the air.
That is a city truck or a route truck that was length limited.

A friend of mine back when he got into road racing decided to purchase a COE sleeper cab tractor/trailer combination. The 40ft trailer had a drop floor like some moving van types. The drop was about 10" so it made loading a car a little easier then if it was standard height. He found as set of ramps and added a winch as well. He and his best bud would carry their race cars in it with the forward part of the trailer set up for sleeping/storage. He even got the reg. changed so that he could drive it despite his not having a CDL.
