Does seem like a very good deal, but definitely look carefully for signs of the dreaded subframe mount issue and validate that "no accidents" claim...
There was a blue one out here listed by a local dealer for a similar price with "clean title, no accidents!" I looked at their own CarFax and it was in four serious accidents and completely written off once!!! Can't just trust whatever people tell you these days.
Seems fishy.
As mentioned, these have subframe issues. The best fix is by a member here, cant remember his name as he barely posts. Randy Forbes!!
Here at Friday 8pm the car has been on FB for 22 hours. I predict it to be gone by 1:00 tomorrow, Saturday. I understand and respect the caution or the pointing out of the weaknesses but 41k... Would subframe issues really be present already at just 41k?
This is not a car I'll be acting upon but it seems to me...this is a year 2000 car so for me, here in Ohio this car will be eligible for Historic license plates in 7 months when it turns 25 model calender years old. Here, that means $35 one time to get the vehicle registered and the car NEVER needs to be re-registered so $35, one time, buys you plates for the rest of the car's life. Insure it with something like Hargerty for a mostly stored policy wont cost much per year. Drive the car on Sundays and Fundays in the summer only and I'd be likely to put on less than 5k miles per year. In 10 years it is still less than 100k miles and it should only appreciate...never loose money. Maybe...maybe not.
Just looked over more closely. I thought it had an S54 engine but its an S52. Yeah, could very well be legit.
I saw this, and it's not too far from me. I am assuming it's legit. Doesn't seem low enough to be scam.
I sold mine for that price back in like 2018 and it was decidedly not this nice but maybe a bit more of a known quantity mechanically. The s52 is not exactly a sought after engine but this does still seem like a good deal for a pretty decent, fairly uncommon car.
