I am looking for a 2004-2006 5 speed manual 5 Cylinder, 2wd Regular cab. I know there is one out there somewhere....
I do not care if it is a rebuilt title, i dont care if it is ugly and needs paint, i only care about it running and driving. I hate to say it but, distance is almost not an issue... I will drive for the right deal. I will consider extended cabs if a regular cab proves too hard to come by. but it has to meet the rest of my requirements for what i want to do.
If you have one you would be willing to sell or know of one for sale feel free to reply to this thread or even ontact me directly.
All I can say is that I recommend keeping your search south/west of the rust belt. Major frame rust problems on these. I think the Atlas I5 is a cool engine, though. Why limit your search to '06 and older?

One in Idaho and carfax says it spent its life in Oregon.

Because in 07 the 3m7 replaced the 3.5 and although i would prefer that motor, none came paired with the ar5 5 speed manual. So id prefer to get started with a driving combo before eventually going to a 3.7

I have that one saved. Its nice and also expensive, just hoping i can find a regular cab before settling for an expensive extended cab.
You might want to take a look, join and post WTB in 1st Gen.

I never gave it thought but aside from being a not common combination, I'll bet it is even harder to find a proper listing. It's hard enough when people list a car as a manual trans but it is clearly an automatic. It is probably even harder to get people to correctly list that the car is the 5 cyl and not mislable it as the more popular 4 cyl or 6 cyl.

Oh, I didn't realize they stopped offering that combo after '06. Cool, good luck.
NMNA but looks like a solid FL truck. It's 4WD and Extended cab, though.

Nice! Just listed and local too! I might just have to take a gamble on the strength of the 4x4 parts...

Excited to follow along! That's a project I've always wanted to do.
Excellent! I'm glad that one worked out for you. I didn't even see where you were located until after the post, but then saw Oviedo and thought even more convenient. I'm in Altamonte, but my mom is in Oviedo and sister in Geneva. That's a clean truck.

it was too convenient lol. It is very nice. it has a little rust in the rocker panels in the rear, but besides that its in great shape! Thanks again!
