I am looking to preferably trade my 1991 Mazda Miata for a larger vehicle. The car is a 5-speed and I currently daily drive the car 40 miles a day with no issues.
Car is currently located in Mundelein, IL, but I am willing to work something out with anyone.
The Bad:
-Previous owner swapped gauge cluster due to the original stopping working. The current cluster reads 296,000 miles actual mileage is unknown. The last confirmed mileage was around 150,000 in 2006. The car was not daily driven since then until I owned it.
-Clearcoat is flaking a bit on trunk-lid and a around gas cap.
-Front and rear bumper have paint chips.
-2 small cracks in dashboard
-Previous owner removed belt from power steering and AC, and lost the tensioner block. It is a 5 dollar part on ebay or from your local junkyard. I may get one and install it and the belt. All AC and power steering components are intact and working.
-Right rear parking brake cable is broken
The Good:
-100% rust free car from Tennessee (I have a clear Tennessee title for the car)
-No dents or damage
-Timing belt and water pump recently replaced.
-No leaks from anything.
-No HLA tick.
-It is a long nose crank car.
-All suspension and bushings in great shape.
-Perfect black seats and carpet.
-Newer NB top with glass rear window.
-Good tires.
-Hella E-Code lights.
-R-Package lip
-Brakes recently replaced with pads/rotors/calipers
-Metal radiator.
-New hoses etc.
-Replaced clutch master/slave
The car runs and drives very well and, has never given me any problems. I would like to trade it for something slightly larger with a manual transmission, I can add cash if needed. I'm interested in just about any hatchback/wagon. Especially Foresters, Imprezas, etc. Will consider anything really.
I will try to get some pictures uploaded shortly. Car is dirty at the moment.
