I've had 2 '66 Splitties.

Both ran when I bought them, and had floors. Both had minimal rust, and no accidents.

I paid $125 for one of them, and $25 for the other.

No, I don't still have them.

No, I didn't make money on them.

Don't feel too bad about it. My father once muttered something about almost closing the deal on a Hemi something or other for some 3 digit number in the early 80s, before running his mouth about ballast resistors.
