Hi there. Came across this post. My dad was the chief race mechanic for Otto zipper, also maintained this car for Briggs when he raced this car as well as was the head mechanic and maintainimg all the cars when Briggs had his museum in Costa Mesa.
Let me know if you would be interested in talking to him about many details concerning this 904 and many other historic vehicles.
He just turned 90 last week and very fit mentally and physically. Would like to get his wealth of knowledge documented.
