Ive seen a RB20DET Z and a L28ET Z. L28 was my favorite, like how they sound and it fits the car imo.
If I were to do RB I would go RB25 at least. That or a RB30 build. I wouldn't bother the RB26. If you are going to pay that much money might as well build a RB30.
I like the RB20 in my Skyline but there is a lot more lag and no torque off boost at all and it spools late on even the small stock turbo.

I like the idea of swapping a GM Atlas 4.2 into something. Assuming it fit under the hood, it would be an atypical and kind of cool Z-car swap. Apparently, they can make some serious power when turbocharged.
