My dad bought one of those new and drove it daily for years, Its been a long time since I have seen one for sale. That one is missing the proper ($$$) valve cover but looks nice otherwise. The transmission, alternator, cylinder head and power module (the part of the computer than controls the fuel injectors, next to the airbox) were all regular issues but he liked it otherwise.

Yeah, they don't seem to pop up often. Good catch on the valve cover; I love it when someone knows a car well enough to spot differences like that.
That valve cover is 100% correct for the car. The covers that had "Shelby" on them were used starting in 1987. For 1986, the engine was a Turbo I converted to Turbo II specs. They used the Chrysler Turbo valve cover that was used on Turbo I engines at the time. There is a tag to the left of the word Turbo that says: Use Mobil 1 As Recommended in Shelby GLHS. So that cover and tag were used on all 1986 Shelby GLHS cars.
