If I told you you could get a 1,500 pound 2-seat sports car that does 0-60 in 3.5 Seconds and is wider than a 911 Porsche, would you be interested? If so check out the film clip I just saw on BLOOMBERG.COM. It is also claimed to go from 60 to 0 in less than 100'!
Of course some things we're mostly used to such as opening doors, roof, and a true windscreen aren't there. But for a fun sunny day roadster or maybe a drive to the track, track car, this looks pretty hot! And it does have what appear to be functional roll over hoops plus great seats and at least 4-point belts. And entrance or egress by crawling over , as in a runabout boat seems pretty easy.
I think it's a great idea & they claim they are already in production and have over 100 pre-sold. Of course if you want to go up-market they have a fancier model for $110K.
